Don't be sheepish ladies, get to Rams

LADIES of the Central Highlands are encouraged to join the Emerald Rams Rugby Union Club for a party to be held in their honour tomorrow.

The flood-affected sports club will be hosting its annual Ladies Day, and for the second time all profits from the day have been pledged to the McGrath Foundation.

The boys will don special pink shorts for the 4pm game against Moranbah Bulls which will be auctioned afterwards to raise money for the breast cancer charity.

“We’re looking for as many ladies as possible to come down and enjoy the party, fun and games, while supporting a good cause,” Rams president Andrew Erbacher said. “Commonwealth Bank sponsored the day again which is a huge help and their support is hugely appreciated.”

Mr Erbacher said champagne, food, raffles, prizes and entertainment would be on offer for one of the biggest social events for the Rams.

“Head down to Morton Park tomorrow from 2.30pm onwards,” he said.
