Driver and passenger trapped after car leaves road, crashes

TWO men have been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver and passenger were trapped in a vehicle after, for unknown reasons, it left Mount Nebo Road and crashed just after 12am.

It was some time before emergency services were able to free them.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
