Driver and passengers injured after car loses control

The Toowoomba based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was diverted whilst en route to Chinchilla on an Inter Hospital transfer to a car accident near Cecil Plains west of Toowoomba at 10pm Saturday evening.

POLICE are investigating a serious traffic crash that happened at Cecil Plains last night.

Officers were called around 9.50pm after a sedan travelling on Dalby Cecil Plains Rd lost control and struck several trees.

An 18-year-old male passenger and a 24-year-old female passenger were both airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.

The 24-year-old male driver and a 16-year-old female passenger were treated on scene for minor injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
