The Duke arrives in London

John Wayne 'Paste ups' are appearing in London. Lost at E Minor

STREET art and weather in perfect harmony is a beautiful thing. Handy, then, that these John Wayne ‘paste ups’ have appeared all over London in the midst of a serious frosty spell in the capital which has seen London’s transport grind to a halt due to a lack of gritting (oh the irony).

The image appears to have been taken from the cover of the original True Grit DVD, reminding us of the unquestionable awesomeness of the original movie ahead of the Cohen Brothers remake out soon. Having braved some serious snowflakage it also appears that the still unidentified artist behind them certainly does have some of John Wayne’s True Grit in them. Whoever they may be, I salute them.
