Eight-man brawl erupts at McDonald’s

ONE man was left with serious head injuries after a wild brawl involving up to eight men erupted at a fast food restaurant in Sydney's inner west overnight.

Police were called to the McDonald's at Drummoyne about 2.20am this morning to find the group of men fighting.

A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene but later released pending further inquiries.

A man in his 20s suffered a head wound and was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Another man in his 20s was arrested at the scene but later released without charge pending further inquiries.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Burwood Police or Crime Stoppers.
