Elderly man caught more than three times legal limit

A 71-YEAR-OLD was caught more than three times the legal blood alcohol limit.

Police caught the man on the corner of John and Walker Sts in Maryborough at 8pm on Sunday.

The elderly man from Urangan had a blood alcohol reading of 0.169.

The man was charged for drink driving.

He is expected to appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court on November 23.
