Elizabeth Hurley chased by cows

ELIZABETH Hurley has been chased through a field by a herd of cows.

The 46-year-old beauty - who owns a lavish country home in Gloucestershire, South-West England - and her brood of Labradors found themselves having to sprint away from the stampeding farmyard animals, and she admits it was the fastest she has had to run in "a good 30 years".

Writing on her twitter page, Elizabeth said: "The dogs and I got chased by (one of own) cows today. Fastest I've run for a good 30 years. (sic)"

However, this isn't the first animal-based problem Elizabeth has experienced in recent months.

The actress-and-model also owns a blue fronted Amazonian breed parrot named Ping Pong which can replicate human speech, but the feathered friend has recently demonstrated a love of swearing.

Elizabeth said: "She's started to say 'f**k off' which she learnt from her pet shop days.

"They have this weird retentive memory where they hear something and sit on it for months before repeating it. Two days ago she suddenly said, 'Happy Christmas!'"
