Cowboys slaughter Rabbitohs

EMERALD Cowboys laid down a 46-10 demolition over Bluff Rabbitohs at home.

The nimble Cowboys attack withheld most of the barrage before turning up the pressure late in the second half.

The away win further strengthened the Cowboys’ confidence ahead of their final home game tomorrow night.

“It was a great win with only 14 players. Cameron Fagg played with a broken hand from last week,” Cowboys president Damon Walsh said.

“Bluff are always strong at home. You have to weather their first 20 minutes and hold your own in defence which Alistair Gall and Asaih Tavo did brilliantly. All 14 players gave everything and the club could not be more proud of them.”

A Bluff spokesman said they were never in the match and for the majority it was “one-way traffic” to Emerald.
