Ergon working to reconnect power
UPDATE 3.20pm: Ergon Energy is continuing to make excellent progress restoring power to hundreds of flood-affected homes across Central Queensland.
Crews have made significant in-roads restoring power to most parts of Emerald and Theodore as flood waters subsided in recent days.
In Emerald, power has been restored to 353 customers.
Today’s records show there are still 65 customers without power due to inundation.
Similarly, in Theodore, power has been restored to 192 customers.
Today’s records show there are 42 customers still without power due to inundation.
In Rockhampton, Ergon Energy is drawing up an action plan to restore power to flood-affected homes and businesses as soon as it is safe.
