EXCITED young dancer Chloe Jeha can't sleep: she's soon to not only see the Disneyland parade, but also perform in it.

Ms Jeha and 26 of her fellow dancers at iDance Studios are about to jet off on the adventure of a lifetime as they head to the USA to participate in a dance tour around Los Angeles.

"I'm nervous and excited all at once! We've worked very hard," Ms Jeha said.

"I'm most looking forward to dancing in the Disney Parade and performing in front of lots of people. I don't think any of us will sleep before we go!'

Principal Carla Tierney said last year she sent off the audition tapes secretly to the Sydney based company Dance around the World.

"When I told them the news it was a 'by the way' we've auditioned for this and been accepted - who wants to come?" Ms Tierney said.

"There has been overwhelming support from the community and the students' parents.

"It's the first trip overseas for many of the dancers and their families."

With less than a month until the tour, Ms Tierney said the students had been rehearsing around the clock.

"One of the girl's parents said to me, it's good thing you have blonde hair, or you'd be grey by now."
