A 10-YEAR-OLD is recovering from injuries after an air-bag exploded in his face.

The youngster was sitting in the front passenger seat of a car that was involved in a nose-to-tail accident.

Even though damage to the cars was not too severe, the child received facial injuries from the inflated airbag.

The incident took place yesterday about 8am on Warwick Rd.

One of the vehicles involved in the collision needed to be towed.
