EMERALD residents can look forward to a range of “innovative” services including an in-store butcher who will provide individual cuts of meat on request, a Coles Curry Pot featuring freshly made curries, fruits and vegetables displayed on ice and an in-store baker, baking fresh bread daily, a Coles spokesperson said.
The new store will employ an additional 55 team members, helping boost employment in the local area, the spokesperson added.
Emerald Coles store manager Darrin Simpson said the number of changes made to the store would give Emerald residents something exciting to look forward to.
“The multi-million dollar renovation has given the store a completely new look and feel. The range of new services will give customers a greater choice, alongside excellent customer service and high quality produce,” Mr Simpson said.
Central Highlands Mayor Peter Maguire will be on hand to officially open the store, with celebration activities taking place all weekend including cooking demonstrations, sampling and giveaways.
