Feldt ready for the challenge of Radradra

North Queensland's grand final-winning hero Kyle Feldt must like pain ... lots of pain.

The Cowboys winger, who crossed for the try that gave Johnathan Thurston the chance to win the grand final with a golden-point field goal last October, says he is looking forward to marking Parramatta's Fijian colossus Semi Radradra at Pirtek Stadium tomorrow night.

Feldt stands 191cm and tips the scales at a healthy 103kg, so he is no lightweight on the wing for the Cowboys.

He is no slouch either, having scored 18 tries, including the most important one in the club's 25-year history, in 23 games.

But Radradra is a monster who has scored 48 tries in 50 games, most of them by running over the top of his opponents.

To Feldt, that presents the perfect challenge.

"I am really looking forward to it," Feldt said before the team headed south. "Yeah, he is a big fella like me and it's always good to play against big fellas.

"This is NRL so you've got the best in the country playing against each other every week, so you want to stamp your authority on the position, which is a good challenge."

Feldt said he would have to get in Radradra's face early.

"I need to get off the line as quick as I can and put pressure on him," he said.

"But how do you stop a semi-trailer?"

Media reports said Cowboys prop Matt Scott sat out training this week, but the co-captain will make the trip to Sydney with his teammates.
