Fevola marked by bankrupt finding

FORMER Carlton and Brisbane Lions forward Brendan Fevola has been declared bankrupt.

The Federal Circuit Court in Brisbane heard the former AFL superstar owed more than $60,000 in unpaid debts.

It was revealed that Fevola, who did not appear in court yesterday, owed amounts of about $15,500, $45,500 and $7000 to three creditors.

A bankruptcy notice was served on him in May and he failed to comply, the court heard.

Registrar Murray Belcher said he was satisfied the documents had been served on Fevola and the debts were still owing.
