Fleming dead? Well, let’s ask James Bond

IT'S a mystery of James Bond proportions - a famous author, long-since dead, reappearing in print.

And it's not a fantasy, almost. Lovers of the James Bond franchise will lap up the latest edition, Trigger Mortis.

The Bond creator, Ian Fleming, is back. So too is Pussy Galore, perhaps the most famous Bond girl of all, of Goldfinger fame.

Prolific UK author Anthony Horowitz, the fourth Bond writer since 2008, has the reins and is fortified by some original Fleming material. Fleming died in 1964 but a chapter of this book is from thoughts he had for a TV series never shot.

Trigger Mortis by Anthony Horowitz. Publisher: Hachette Australia. RRP paperback $29.99, ebook $6.99
