Flock together and 'flamingle'

GRAB some gals and meet for a great morning out because this Sunday is the inaugural Emerald Community Kindy Stalk and Cork event.

The morning is at 7a Andrews Rd, starting at 10am until 12.30pm.

"This event, as the name suggests, has a funky flamingo theme with lots of champagne, raffles, cent sale and amazing food,” organiser Laura Clarke said.

"The ladies will enjoy a lovely morning in a garden setting surrounded by flamingos big and small.

"It's a great chance to get your gals together and enjoy a brunch-style feast.”

The menu might be a secret but Laura assured the food would be delicious.

"We can't give too much away but the food will not only be a taste sensation but a visual spectacular not to be missed,” Laura said.

"The MC for the morning will be local funny lady Kate Mattingly who will be sure to have the ladies enjoying themselves.”

The morning also includes a vintage fashion parade and cent sale.

"So if you are keen to flamingle and get flocked be sure to secure your ticket to the funkiest picnic Emerald has ever seen,” Laura encouraged.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased from the kindy office, Stiletoes or Direct Chemist Outlet.
