CLERMONT'S growth and development was on the table at the Clermont Growth Forum hosted by Isaac Regional Council and the Clermont Community and Business Group.

Billed as Understanding the Needs, Finding the Solutions, the forum was an opportunity for key stakeholders to meet and discuss positive and proactive solutions for Clermont's future.

Feedback from participants was positive and Isaac Regional Council Mayor Cedric Marshall said there were now some excellent solutions for moving forward.

"With growth placing pressures on affordability and liveability in Clermont, the aim of the forum was to understand both the current and predicted growth rates, and the current and predicted residential and industrial land needs, before seeking solutions to best position Clermont to manage this growth and development," Division 6 councillor Rob Williams said.

"We are determined for Clermont to be always open to growth and change, whilst retaining its unique heritage. When it comes to Clermont's growth, we are determined to get it right."
