Four people hurt in multi-vehicle crash

UPDATE 3.35PM: At least four people are being treated by paramedics at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash in Harristown.

Two ambulance units and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews are at the scene of a four-vehicle crash at the corner of Alderley St and Merritt St.

Reports suggest four people have been injured in the crash and will be taken to hospital.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible.

3.30PM: A multi-vehicle crash in Harristown has closed an intersection, with emergency services rushing to the scene.

Police have called for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and paramedics to attend the four-vehicle crash at the corner of Alderley St and Merritt St.

The crash was reported about 3.20pm.

Early reports suggests several people are involved in the collision.
