Freak storm causes flash flooding on southern Downs

WEATHER watchers are reporting a freak storm that formed near Warwick last night and swept across the southern Darling Downs.

There were reports of flash flooding in the wake of the storm, which developed about 10pm.

More than 30mm of rain was dumped on Warwick.

Flash flooding was reported in Maryvale.
