Future uncertain for Big Brother's Cat and Lawson
CAT and Lawson, the couple at the centre of Big Brother's cheating scandal, appear to be on shaky ground.
Melbourne midwife Cat Law, who was booted off the reality show last night, is choosing her words carefully when it comes to the future of her romance with the Perth magician.
Lawson Reeves, who went on Big Brother still dating his girlfriend of three years Candice Leeder, was evicted on Monday.
"Where we take it from here is between the two of us," Cat told APN.
"There's a lot of stuff to work out. It's unclear where this can go. I'm obviously open to pursuing something with him. What I felt for him in the house was genuine."
Like Lawson, Cat is vowing to "cop it on the chin" and take responsibility for her actions.
"You can face the world in two ways: you can take everything negatively or take ownership and make the best of it, even if it is not necessarily happy and that's the path I've decided to take," she said.
In contrast, last night's other evictee Aisha McKinnon is one half of this year's Big Brother uncomplicated love story.
The 22-year-old beauty had no hesitations about committing to a future relationship with Travis Lunardi, who is still vying for the show's grand prize inside the house.
"We never put pressure on ourselves to make it as a couple, it just happened. On the outside we're just going to let it happen naturally," Aisha said.
"We do live in different cities and we understand it's going to be hard, but we're willing to give it a really good shot when he gets out. Big Brother is just the beginning for us."
Aisha said she felt sympathy for Lawson's long-time girlfriend Candice, who has yet to speak publicly about his infidelity.
"I've been like Candice in the past and been cheated on," she said.
"She didn't have a voice in the situation and I found that sad. At the end of the day they (Cat and Lawson) are adults and can make their own decisions."
