Game of Thrones actor Jamie Lannister in Australia

ACTOR Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the man who plays Jaime Lannister in HBO's popular television series Game Of Thrones, has been spotted in Hobart, where he has spent time taking in the city's cafe and art scene.

Numerous sightings of Coster-Waldau, known in the show as the Kingslayer, caused a social media frenzy, with locals tagging their posts about the actor #GOT.

Josie Sibly was working at the coffee shop this morning when she noticed the Danish heart-throb walk in and order a skim latte.

"He walked through the front door and I kind of had a little bit of a moment and was just like, 'oh my gosh, he's here', and got a bit starstruck, got a bit nervous," she told the ABC.

"I don't think many other people in the cafe realised at the time who he was.

A  picture of Coster-Waldau was posted on the Facebook page of the Hobart cafe, Villino Espresso.

"Look who we made coffee for today," the post said.

Coster-Waldau was also at the Mother Of All Balls at Sydney's Town Hall on Saturday night.
