Audition for arena spectacular

THE Central Highlands is renowned for its horsemen and women and now they're being offered the chance to put their skills to the ultimate test in front of an audience of thousands.

The Man From Snowy River - Arena Spectacular is coming to Rockhampton next year and recruitment staff are calling on local horsemen and women, suppliers of horses, dancers, featured singers, musicians and actors to audition for their place in the entertainment show extravaganza, which will be held in conjunction with Beef Australia 2012.

Ozworks Entertainment's creative producer Mark Eady has his eyes set on incorporating local performers and their equine friends to give audiences as realistic interpretation as possible of the classic Australian story.

"I'm going to need a key group of locals that really know what they are doing," Mr Eady said.

To register your interest in becoming involved in the Arena Spectacular, or to find out more about the performance opportunities available, visit the Ozworks Entertainment website at www.ozworks.net and click on the 'auditions' tab.
