Mental As Anything on Moranbah stage for charity concert
LIVE it up in Moranbah on September 13, as Mental As Anything hits the stage for the 4U2 Family Concert.
The concert, founded by the Hornery family last year, is a charity concert in aid of RACQ CQ Rescue Helicopter and Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital Foundation.
And Mental As Anything's Greedy Smith is proud to be doing his part to support the event.
"These services are vital and there always seems to be a shortage of money for these emergency medical transport services, they are really expensive, but really necessary," Greedy said.
"It is great to be involved with this."
Greedy said the band was also excited to return to Moranbah after more than a decade.
Mental as Anything will be performing their greatest hits at the charity concert, alongside The Angels and Busby Marou.
"I think that people in the over-40s age group will know nearly every song," Greedy said.
"I really like the fact that it is going to be an all-ages concert, I really get a big kick out of seeing the youngsters down the front."
The Hornery family created the event in honour of their son Lachlan.
Lachlan, son to Percy and Sandra and brother to Derran, Randall and Que, was husband to Sonia and a father of five children, and lost his fight with cancer at age 35.
