PLENTY of screams and a world first will be the highlights of fright nights at Movie World through October and November.

During the special Saturday night events Movie World will be transformed into a playground of nightmares that will disturb, unbalance and possess with the return of the after-dark events.

Fright nights 2011 will feature the addition a world first Batman Arkham Asylum Maze.

Based on the cult video game Batman Arkham Asylum, the Gotham City Penitentiary will be brought to life as the Joker and his psychopathic criminal friends try to catch guests unawares.

The events, which will be held from 6-11pm, kick-off on Saturday and will then be held on Saturday, October 15, Saturday, October 22, Friday, October 28, Saturday, October 29 and Monday, October 31.

The series of events will also include the return of one of the world's most popular horror film franchises, SAW.
