Girl treated after being burned by hot coffee

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl has been treated for burns to her chest on Hamilton Island.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the girl was treated after being burned by hot coffee.

She said the ambulance was called at 2.12pm yesterday but the child was not taken to hospital.
