Golden Casket search for QLD's $15 million Powerball winner

GOLDEN Casket officials are trying to contact a division one winner of last night's $15 million Powerball jackpot draw.

So far this morning, repeated attempts to phone the registered winner, from Brisbane's southside, have been unsuccessful.

The ticket was purchased from Watland Street 727, 41 Watland St, Springwood.

It was the only division one winning entry in Australia from Powerball draw 1090 last night, delivering a prize of $15 million.

It's the second time the Watland Street 727 has sold a division one winning Powerball entry.

In 2012, it sold the entry that won a Brisbane southside couple a division one prize double the size, of $31 million.
