Morayfield grandma’s bail could be appealed

THE grandmother charged over the Morayfield house of horrors soon may be behind bars.

Queensland Police yesterday confirmed they were considering appealing Caboolture Magistrates Court's decision to grant the woman bail.

The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was granted bail on Monday.

The woman faces three counts of attempted murder against one boy, attempting to kill the boy's brother, attempted arson and interfering with the corpse of an infant between July 29, 2013 and September 27 last year.

The woman was allowed bail if she could find accommodation approved by the court, ordered to report to police daily and to not contact children or witnesses related to the case.
