Gunshots fired into house at Coomera

POLICE are appealing for public assistance after a residence on Yaun Street at Coomera was shot at last night.

Initial investigations indicate three projectiles were fired into the home around 8.15pm, causing damage to the front windows and lounge room.

It is believed the person who fired the shots then fled the scene on foot.

None of the six people in the home at the time were injured.

A man described as being in his late teens to early 20s with long straggly hair was seen in vicinity at the time.

Investigations are continuing with police asking anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time to contact Crime Stoppers.
