Hammered

IT was no cricket match but the scoreline certainly resembled one.

Middlemount Panthers thrashed Bluff Rabbitohs 98-0 in one of the highest scoring games in the Central Highlands competition this season.

Sam Creedon tallied five tries for the Panthers, Ryan Hansel four and Jamie Sullivan three.

Bluff Rabbitohs spokesman Scott Power said despite a poor player turnout, there was no excuse for the humiliating performance exhibited at the weekend.

Never really in finals contention but never really out of it either, the Rabbitohs’ 2011 season campaign has been a mixed one with hopes for an improved performance next season.
