Hang in there for jungle adventure

CURRUMBIN Wildlife Sanctuary is the new home of adventure.

The sanctuary's latest attraction, The Green Challenge high ropes adventure course, is the newest nature-based adventure experience on the Gold Coast.

With 65 challenges including giant flying foxes and a Tarzan swing, the Green Challenge takes visitors higher and further into the spectacular natural setting than ever before.

The Green Challenge is based on the Adventure Park concept which takes elements of SAS commando training delivered as safe, fun and exciting treetops ropes courses for children and adults.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary director of sales and marketing Greg Daven said the courses are at differ- ent levels, from easy to extreme.

"There are two courses for beginners, an intermediate course and the black course which is the most difficult," Mr Daven said.

"Participants are strapped into the course at all times in case they lose their balance.

"We've had families and even office groups come into the course for team bonding."
