Heartless thieves steal car containing medical equipment

A ROCKHAMPTON mother is frantic with stress after her car, which had specialised medical equipment for her daughter inside, was stolen.

Lauren Taylor has put an appeal out on Facebook to help find her red Holden Adventra wagon which was stolen from a mechanics shop on Rockhampton Rd at 8am yesterday.

"My daughter has severe cerebral palsy and multiple medical needs and today someone stole my car with most of Issy's equipment including her very expensive special needs car seat and a stroller and sling amongst many other much needed things for my daughter!!

"My daughter Issy has multiple and complex medical needs and our car is her only way of transportation!

"I am a single mum and I can not afford to replace them. I am distraught."

She posted that police believe the suspect could possibly be heading to or already in Northern NSW - possibly Yamba area or maybe even the Gold Coast...however it's whereabouts are unknown. 

The registration is 811 VWS.
