AUSSIE former Neighbours star Holly Candy has become a mother for a second time.

The actress and her property tycoon husband Nick Candy announced the birth of their daughter today, after welcoming her into the world a few days ago.

The 34-year-old and her hubby have named their daughter Nova Skye Coco Candy and are already parents to three-year-old Luka Violet Toni.

A spokesperson for Holly confirmed the happy news to The Sun Online saying: "I can confirm that Holly Candy gave birth a few days ago to a baby daughter named Nova Skye Coco Candy.

"Nick and Holly are delighted with the news and mother and baby are both doing well."

Holly married billionaire British property developer Nick Candy on September 29 2012 in Beverly Hills.

In November 2013 Holly gave birth in London to their first child Luka.

Holly made her name after she was cast as Felicity "Flick" Scully in Neighbours back in 1999.

The actress proved popular in the show and in 2000 won the Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent.

She left the soap in 2002 to pursue a music career with her debut single Kiss, Kiss going straight to Number One in 2002.

Following the alleged legal problems and poor sales from second album, State of Mind, Holly was reportedly dropped from her recording company.

She denied this stating: "I asked to be released, but Warner refused, so I hung out for a year until the contract expired. We parted on good terms."

Holly later confirmed she is no longer interested in recording music, telling Men's Style magazine: "I do something until it's not fun anymore and then move on. Music wasn't fun anymore."

Her younger sister Olympia, who currently stars in Neighbours as Paige Smith, recently revealed her older sister hadn't ruled out a return to the hit soap.
