CAPTAIN Matthew Flinders was the first to circumnavigate Australia, proved Tasmania was an island and even named our continent. Now his body may be dug up along with 61,000 others from a London burial ground so the HS2 high-speed rail project can be built. The Royal Navy captain's body is thought to be buried in the disused cemetery but finding it could prove challenging. Archeologist Helen Wass told The Times her team's best chance is if they discover a coffin with a metal name plate or some kind of identifiable decoration.
