RSPCA Queensland has called for the public to come forward to help address potential animal cruelty cases in estates at Lowood and Glamorgan Vale.
Area inspector Laurie Stageman said cats foaming at the mouth with cuts to their head and legs had been found in Haslington Estate and Eagle Rise Estate.
Mr Stageman said dog owners in the area had also taken to social media to report injuries to their pets.
"We ask anyone who has any information to come forward," Mr Stageman said.
People with information about the cases have been encouraged to phone the cruelty complaints hotline on 1300 852 188 or 1300 ANIMAL.
