Emerald-based financial advisor nominated for national award

FINANCIAL adviser Grahame Harling can bank on his achievements in the industry.

The Emerald-based adviser for HHH Partners Pty Ltd was recently one of five nominations nationally for the 2012 High Achiever Award by Professional Investment Services.

Chosen from about 800 other practices in the PIS network at the 2013 conference held in Honolulu, Grahame said it was a surprise when his name was announced as a nominee for the prestigious award.

"I attended the conference in Honolulu at Easter and had no idea about the nomination," Grahame said.

"It gets nominated by managers on your professional standard."

Grahame said he was humbled by the nomination.

He said it was a nice feeling to be acknowledged, even though he didn't come away with the win.

"While we didn't ultimately win the award, it was a great honour to be among the nominees," he said.

HHH Partners won the 2011 national award for Professional Standards.

"HHH Partners is delighted to be acknowledged for our hard work and, following on from our 2011 win, the recognition that a local, regional-based financial services practice can provide its clients with professional financial advice that is equal to any in the country," Grahame said.

"Our commitment is to provide clients with quality financial advice that suits their individual circumstances."

HHH has been operating locally for about 25 years and Grahame said the previous awards and nominations were a benefit to their loyal clients in the region.

"The benefit to our clients is that they are advised by professionals who ensure they are getting the quality advice, are adequately protected and on the path to wealth creation," he said.
