THE Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a Redland City man in his 20s after he crashed a dirt bike near Meandarra this morning.

The man had been riding at a property when he fell, losing consciousness and sustaining suspected head and spinal injuries.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was on scene first to assist the man.

He was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
