Jack makes it in to finals

JACK Vidgen is through to the next round on Channel 7’s Australia’s Got Talent program.

The 14-year-old singing sensation was voted by viewers and audience members as one of their top four favourite performers after he sang And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going on last week’s semi-final show.

On Tuesday night Jack thanked viewers for their votes after it was announced he had made it through the first round of viewer’s voting.

His father Steve Vidgen, of Proserpine, hopes people will continue to support his son throughout the show.

"People need to keep watching and get behind Jack," he said.

"I’m very proud of how well he has done so far."

Jack joins fellow musician Bree De Rome and dancing duo Team Rocket into the finals.

He started school at Cannonvale State Primary School and now lives in Manly with his mother.

Jack will perform on the show in coming weeks after the final contestants have been selected from the remaining semi-finals.
