Jackson, mates let their fur down
ABOUT 15 of Jackson’s four-legged friends traded in their fur coats for fancy dress at his first birthday party at Puppy Play Care, Noosaville, yesterday.
The lhasa apso put his best paw forward at the $250 bash, donning a tuxedo and a top hat while his doggy companions opted for Superman and Hawaiian outfits.
Jackson and his furry friends sank their teeth into a carrot and coconut cake and snacked on treats from the buffet and dog piñata.
Puppy Play Care owner Aimee Logan said the dogs played “hide the parcel”, when the dogs found treats hidden around the centre.
Miss Logan said they also did a painting to take home to mum and dad. The dogs’ paws were dabbed with paint before they walked on a paper-covered floor.
But it was not all about the dogs – Jackson’s owners enjoyed nibbles and champagne.
The starting price for parties is $50.
