Jin claims pistol gold

REPUBLIC of Korea's Jin Jong Oh has learnt with patience comes perfection after winning the men's 10 metre air pistol at the London Olympics.

The Beijing silver medalist has had to wait four long years for another shot at a gold medal in the event, but after a nervy finish, finally took top spot on the podium.

Jin was pushed throughout the event by Italy's Luca Tesconi, but a near perfect 10.8 in the Korean's last game forced Tesconi to settle for the silver medal.

Serbian Andrija Zlatic claimed the bronze medal.
