Join the street party

BREAK out of the Muster camp and whoop it up this Saturday when Gympie hosts a free street party in celebration of the country music festival.

Muster campers have been invited to take a break from their campsites and hop on board a shuttle bus or heritage train to Gympie for the free Pre-Muster festivities and/or the Muster Cup race on Saturday, August 21.

For less than $40 a ticket, choose your own adventure with a variety of ways to spend your day.

Board the bus for Gympie and spend time wandering through Mary Street as the Muster street party gets into full swing.

Experience a self-guided tour of the historic buildings, listen to local music and enjoy lunch at one of the historic pubs before hopping on the Mary Valley Rattler bound for Amamoor.

Another option is to catch a shuttle bus to the Amamoor station for a trip into Gympie on the Rattler.

Enjoy the Pre-Muster party before heading to the racecourse for an afternoon at the Muster Cup Race Day and then back to camp by bus or the Red Rocket heritage train.

So come rain, hail or shine to Gympie for great bargains, music and family fun.

Ticket prices vary depending on which way you want to go.
