'Juveniles with toys' cause lockdown in city

POLICE locked off an area of Wilsonton on Sunday night after reports were made of a person carrying a weapon.

The incident occurred about 5.45pm on Kingsford Smith Drive, however a Police Media spokesman said nothing was found.

"We believe it might have been juveniles with toys," he said.

An exclusion zone was set up before police left the scene not long after arriving.

Investigations are continuing.
