KATTER Australian Party MPs Rob Katter and Shane Knuth have announced that the LNP has been more forthcoming in their negotiations, but they still have not made a final decision on which major party they would support.

Mr Katter and Mr Knuth fronted media this morning, saying they were still holding discussions with both parties.

But Mr Katter said: "And at this stage of the process there is clear daylight with the LNP well ahead of ALP in number of priorities that we've counted up."

Earlier this week the KAP released a list of key priorities they wanted to achieve for Queensland, including pushing forward on the Galilee Basin projects and banning 100% FIFO mines.

"We're disappointed at the moment that the ALP have failed to meet those requirements,"  Mr Katter said.

But, they said the door was still open and they had not finalised their decision.

"We are still in due process, we are still in discussions, this is non endorsement whatsoever for the LNP and we have made absolutely no decision," Mr Knuth said.
