Katy Perry adds five shows to Oz tour
FIVE extra shows have been added to singer Katy Perry's Australian tour after her visit this week to launch the Australian leg of her Prismatic World Tour.
Dainty Group announced the extra shows in repsonse to what it refers to as "overwhelming demand" for tickets.
The new shows have been added in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The tour is in support of Perry's hit album PRISM, which debuted at number one in Australia and has since been certified Triple Platinum.
The album has given Perry her biggest ever single in Australia, with Roar currently certified 9 x Platinum.
The singer won more hearts as she worked the media across Australia this week, even offering up a comedic weather presentation on Channel 7′s Sunrise, in which she referred to Hobart as Hogwarts.
