Kevin Rudd to speak at urban developers' conference

FORMER Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will be the keynote speaker at the national urban developers' conference in March.

The Urban Development Institute of Australia announced him as the headliner in a statement on Monday.

Mr Rudd - whose government once held the "Big Australia Policy" pushing for the country to grow to 35 million by 2050 - will speak on the topic of "Population: Vision for a Nation".

The UDIA National Congress will run from March 4 to March 7 in Melbourne.
