A CONVICTED killer, who served less than five years behind bars for his role in a horrific triple-murder in Toowoomba, is reportedly living in an east Brisbane suburb.

Michael Thompson, 30, and 17-year-olds David Lyons and Tyson Wilson died after being brutally tortured in 2005.

Scott Geoffrey Maygar, then-18 of Rockhampton, John Brian Woodman, 16, and another 16-year-old were convicted of the crime.

The unnamed youth could not be identified for legal reasons, but Woodman was 'named and shamed' when he turned 18 in 2007 following changes to the Juvenile Justice Act.

Channel 9 last night revealed the third man, now 21 and who still cannot be named, was living at Carina.
