Knife wielding man robs Morayfield cake store

POLICE are investigating the armed robbery of a cake store at Morayfield on Tuesday morning.  

Around 9.50am a man entered the Morayfield Road business armed with knife and made demands for money from the till.  

The man continued to menace staff with the knife before obtaining money from the till and running out of the store heading in a southerly direction.  

No one was physically injured during the robbery.  

The offender is described as being aged in his 20's, Caucasian, approximately 175cm tall, proportionate build with a blondish coloured beard (approximately three days of growth) and what appeared to be blonde-coloured hair.  

He was wearing black shorts, a light blue hooded jumper with the hood up, black trainers and a black backpack.  

Investigations are continuing.
