Kookaburras target Champions Trophy

THE Australian men's hockey team will be aiming to bounce back from its Olympic disappointment on home soil in December.

The Kookaburras, who finished third in London after entering the Games as gold-medal favourites, have winning the Champions Trophy in Melbourne in their sights ... again.

The Aussies have won the past four and will create history if they win again.

The defence of their crown starts against 2011 Champions Challenge winners Belgium in the first Group B match on December 1. The Dutch and Pakistan are also in the group.

Group A will feature Olympic champions Germany, England, New Zealand and India.
