Lakes closed to water recreation activities

AS A precautionary measure and in the interest of public safety, the western extremities of Lake Wyaralong have been temporarily closed to all water-based activities.

Seqwater will be performing regular water quality testing at Lake Wyaralong and the lake will be reopened as soon as possible.

Lakes Atkinson and Dyer have also been temporarily closed to water-based recreation activities due to the presence of blue-green algae.

Seqwater is continuing to monitor water quality and the lakes will be reopened for use when test results indicate that it is appropriate to do so.
