Langbroek explanation called for

THE LNP Gregory electorate council wants John-Paul Langbroek to ‘please explain' in person the axing of Vaughan Johnson from his front bench.

Council chairman Mike Burns said members wanted honest dialogue as soon as possible to understand the reasoning behind a move which robs the central and west region of an important voice in the LNP shadow cabinet.

“They've shot the best working dog in the paddock,” said Mr Burns.

“(Langbroek) needs to listen to what is happening out of this and if he wishes to reconsider... as quickly as he can do this, he can change it.”
