Linc begins EIS for Teresa Coal Project

LINC Energy is going ahead with State Government approval processes to develop an underground mine on farmland 17km north of Emerald.

The company has begun its Environmental Impact Statement to assess the potential impacts of its Teresa Coal Project.

A Linc spokesperson said the company understood the importance of community input and feedback and aimed to develop and maintain good relationships with landowners, local communities and other stakeholders.

The draft terms of reference for the EIS are now available for public comment until Friday, December 16.

Community feedback can be made via the project information line on 1800  802  848.
